Neha Verma, MA

Research Interests: Mind-body interventions; Body-based interventions; Trauma
Biography: Neha is a second-year PhD student in the School/Applied Child Psychology program, and holds a BA in Honours Psychology from Concordia University. Her primary research interests focus on: (1) evaluating the efficacy of mind-body and body-based interventions in individuals with histories of trauma (e.g., childhood trauma, complex trauma); and (2) investigating the mechanisms through which these interventions support healing and integration. Neha is particularly interested in improving access to and public understanding of mind-body interventions for trauma recovery. In September 2025, she will begin her field placement with the English Montreal School Board.
